Yesterday I wore a flowy cream shirt with dark jeans and even darker tall black boots. A typical Thursday for me involves jeans, and my closet is arranged in such an order as to accommodate the season. The morning of I grabbed this shirt since it was next in line and thought it matched best with my dark jeans as opposed to regular blue jeans, light jeans, patterned jeans, or my green jeans. Looking at the shoes in my closet I felt that sneakers weren’t appropriate with the business casual look but my short black boots would get ruined if the weather decided it was going to rain again. So the tall black boots it was.
The shirt is from T.J. Max when my mom and I decided I needed more professional-looking clothing for any future interviews or internships. I wear it casually but once I enter the professional world I will still be able to sport it, but probably with dressier pants and shoes. These jeans are nice because they are dark, so they appear nicer than regular blue jeans, but they are actually really comfortable too. They aren’t too tight even though they are technically skinny so it’s nice to have pants that feel good to wear and make me feel like I look good. The boots are a replacement pair for a different set of tall black boots that I had, wore all the time, and had to get rid of due to the soles literally ripping apart. These new ones are being worn just as often so we’ll see how long they last before I need to get a new pair again.
